Freezer Modification
A Pennsylvania bakery introduced a new line of baked toast products and designed two processing lines to meet the anticipated production. The initial product launch proved highly successful, and within a year, sales exceeded production capacity! One of the production bottlenecks was the capacity of their current cryogenic freezing tunnels. Learn how a Pennsylvainia bakery vastly improved production through freezer modifications with CSE expert help. read more…

Freezer Optimization
Read how A seafood processor in Central Mexico was experiencing extremely high nitrogen usage and insufficient throughput from their nitrogen tunnel. The freezer model was obsolete by current standards, and the freezer manufacturer not able to support or modify the system. The equipment broker (who sold the freezer) contacted Cryogenic Systems Equipment for help.

CSE helped a client optimize an outdated system for maximum usage. read more…

Custom Design
See how CSE installed a custom designed freezer in a single weekend allowing the client to meet the increased demand for their product. Cryogenic Systems Equipment was called in to study the problem and propose a solution.Mechanical cooling systems or conventional cryogenic solutions (spiral, longer tunnel, standard triple pass tunnel) were not appropriate. A solution was needed that dramatically increased the customer’s cooling capacity, without requiring additional floor space or increasing the customer’s cooling cost! read more…

Turnkey Processing Line
Read how CSE met the challenge of high production volume, minimal floor space and turnkey installation responsibilities for a shrimp processing group. The customer had very little space for a cryogenic freezing system. Based on their target production requirements of 3,500 lbs an hour, from 40°F to -10°F, one of CSE’s most inventive freezers was recommended and liquid nitrogen was chosen as the cryogen. The QTF-HP freezer is capable of freezing in excess of 3,500 lbs an hour in a 14 ft X 6 ft footprint. Due to the small cubic volume of the room and the large make-up air requirements of a standard exhaust system, CSE designed and installed a custom designed forced air system using outside air to prevent icing and blockage of the nitrogen exhaust system. This system not only saved the customer the capital expense of a major make-up air system, but resulted in a significant ongoing energy savings. read more…
